i will admit i dont follow ncaa b ball all that much, but what about dell currys kid stephen? i really liked his poise and agressivenes against g-town the other day. i know he is on the small side but sometimes we get too hung up on that. is he going to declare? anyone else watched him much?

He is an undersized 2 guard- listed at 6 3 but really closer to 6 1, and doesn't have pure point ability. Trajan Langdon minus the size...

again, im not worried so much about size, but i am thinking about overall skill. does any one think he has an nba game at all? monta ellis is listed at 6'3 and 177 lbs. just thinking out loud here.

He can stroke it for sure, Im sure he'll get drafted but I dont think he will come out this year.
Id like to look at Richard Roby from Colorado in the 2nd roundor Shan Foster from Vandy.

I was also thinking the same thing - trading up in the draft. I think there's a few interesting possibilities involving C Wilcox, E Watson, the Phoenix 1st & our 2nd.
Maybe the Nets would be interested in a trade involving C Wilcox & the Nets' 2008 1st. It's just that I'm not sure who the Sonics should target with that pick given their apparent long term roster plans.

i would really like the pick of dorsey at 32 if we can. Just looks like the kind of guy we need, and i'm sure i can easily be proven wrong but these tall, built, hustling type players always seem to be solid in their first years.

Assuming no trades, the Sonics add three rookies, stash the last three 2nds in Europe, the 2008/09 team could look like...
Starters - D Rose, C Lee, K Durant, J Green, C Wilcox
Rotation - E Watson, N Collison, D Wilkins, J Petro
Bench - L Ridnour, M Sene, J Dorsey, R Swift, D Marshall
Lots of questions...
- Could C Wilcox play center, especially on defense?
- Could the Sonics trade C Wilcox for a quality starting C or SG?
- Can the Sonics bundle up a bunch of picks & a player for a quality C or SG?
- Can K Durant & J Green slide up to SF & PF, respectively?
- How brutal would be starting two rookie guards?
- How can we get rid of D Marshall?
- Should we get rid of L Ridnour?
- Will J Petro improve into a rotation big capable of contributing on a winning NBA team?
- Will R Swift ever play NBA ball again?
- Will M Sene ever play NBA ball period?

Wilcox cant play center. I think we'll trade him. I see Sene playing before Swift does. I cant see having both Watson and Ridnour on the team next year. Id like to see Wilkins and Marshall bothed moved too.
