Check out Exhibit 34. Bennett says they're trying to make this the most difficult relocation/renovation possible.

Dumbass.

No doubt Bennett's a dumbass, but I think you're taking that quote a bit out of context. It looks like Bennett was joking with Stern specifically on how he was going to deal with McClendon's dumbass statement.

My bad, I got a little overzealous.

Lots of interesting stuff in the exhibits though.

Question for the legal experts here:
Is there any threat to the City's case for what appears to be a violation of the protective order when these emails were released to the press? (see the final page of the pdf)

And if it is a violation and the evidence is thrown out, does that mean Schultz won't be able to use it as evidence in his case?

its an interesting read but has one major thing missing - evidence, emails, articles etc that show the city of seattle giving the Cronies a viable option.

imagine if there was a legit deal tabled by the city and being discussed in these emails? i couldnt be more against these dishonest hicks and david stern and more for the sonics staying here. but how is it even possible to have such horrible local government?

I have no idea on that, but I bet Clay and co. are not too happy about having their email addresses and cell #s available online

No violation:
The protective order does not apply because it only binds the litigants actions. This was a Freedom of Information request by the Seattle Times with regard to a brief that was filed in a federal court. The city did not leak the e-mails, the e-mails just appear as part of the motion that is filed in the public domain.

I'm not a lawyer, I just play one on tv.
