Question to Sonics fans

I'm hoping someone can school me on this. If the Sonics do end up in OKC do they keep the Sonics name? If not have they said what they would call the OKC team? They may not even move its just speculation...just a question. I remember reading about it or hearing about it on ESPN. I just don't remember what they said.
Thanks!

There was a news article posted in OKC not too long ago with artist renderings of jerseys. They had the name "Barons" on them. They were gold and black.

That would be up to Bennett and the city of Seattle, because they'd need to work out a buyout of the KeyArena lease and Bennett probably would leave the name, history and colours behind, to not be remembered about the stinker he put up in Seattle.
Though, that won't happen(as the city won't negotiate a buyout) and therefore we'll see Bennett in court next month.
BTW: As far as the name of that franchise(if it would ever exist), i think OK City Good Faith Efforts sounds just about right.
I mean, Bennett is talking about it and Stern as well, even though both of them probably don't know what the hell Good Faith Effort really means.

Actually, bennith, while I completely see how your name fits, it fails to reflect the OKC heritage along with the Fat MoFo's personal sense of style. May I suggest...

Funny advice coming from someone in OKC. Too bad others like you don't listen to your advice.
EDIT: By the way, this is a SEATTLE SONICS forum, get the hell out of here if you don't like what's being said. How's that for being classy?

While I think this thread has a chance of getting very ugly very quickly, and urge everyone to be mindful of that...

ljp24... or anyone else from OKC on a Seattle forum are the last people to be giving advice about class.
ljp24: I am sure most here are aware of your side of the story... and frankly I doubt many of us care. You and the people in your city will never see Clay or the situation up here the way we do, or the way it is. You have your own OKC Sonics forums that don't allow Seattle people, I suggest if you want to post about the Sonics you do it there.
