It's okay, I don't feel Seattle has a shot at him anyways, at least with the #4 pick. I really feel it will be Mayo, Rose, and Beasley in the top 3, although I don't know what order.

Bayless is looking the most likely more and more to me although I still think if someone like a Westbrook comes in and has a great workout Presti just may do a comparison to see if the team would be better taking a scoring guard like Bayless or a more defensive one in Westbrook. If he decides the gap isn't that huge then a trade down wouldn't be a bad move. If Bayless does look head and shoulders above what Presti is looking for then he sticks with Bayless and looks to deal in a different fashion.

Let's face it, the top guards in this years draft are all more or less combo guards like Rose(probably the closest to a true pointguard), Mayo(because of his athleticism and skills should be able to pick up the pointguard skills), Bayless(again, more of a scorer than anything else to offer), Gordon(probably the least capable of playing point), and Westbrook(at least he proved he can play pointguard while Darren Collison missed the first half of the season, and actually did a great job for UCLA). The only real pure pointguards slated for the first round by most mocks are Augustin and Lawson, both small players. Presti has to make some serious evaluations about just what he wants in the backcourt.

I still think if Presti can make a deal to trade down to around #9 or somewhere in that area and also pick up another pick in the teens, then combined with their own #24 pick I could easily live with the trio of pointguard Russel Westbrook, center/power forward Mareese Speights, and shooting guard Bill Walker.

But if Mayo somehow does fall to #4 then I think it won't matter to Presti if he works out or not since I think he knows what Mayo can bring to a team.

What did the Bucks do to YI? I say draft Mayo regardless.

If anything, this recent rumor would mean OJ Mayo is more likely to be available to Seattle.

Why would McHale want the controversy? Dealing with that stuff is not his cup of tea.

Rose isn't just close, he really is the only pure point (at least the only one who merits a top five pick). For the record, Collison is returning to college.

I say you pick Mayo no matter what, and I personally am a bit afraid of Bayless at this point. I'm liking Westbrook more and more, but I really haven't seen Bayless, so what do I know?

That could very well be Presti's plan, given those rumors abouth him offering the pick to other teams. Though, i'm a bit sceptical about Speights, as he seems to have all the tools, but isn't concentrated enough to use all of them to dominate the way he could. As of right now, i'd rather take Robin Lopez then Speights.
Walker could be really good, but i think he's still more of a small forward and i'd rather have a guy that can consistantly play the 2 guard spot, which brings up guys like CDR, Courtney Lee or even Nicolas Batum(if he falls to #24).

Yeah, if Mayo is still available at #4 then Presti should consider him strongly.

I think this is a report, because Mayo I thought really wanted to work out for Seattle I thought, because a lot of elite prospects are trying to climb over each other to get to play with Kevin Durant and Jeff Green.

Now let's get to the real issue, and the one that probably spurred this one. 6 of the Top 7 prospects are shunning Memphis, and really don't wish to play for them. Not even working out.

Link? Or this is based off assumption? If anything, who want to play for an owner that called his players out in public? I doubt Seattle is one of the places Mayo want to play for knowing that there is a possibility that he is heading to OKC after a few season.
