I don't think Kyle Weaver is still going to be there at #50.
I wouldn't mind drafting Jermey Pargo in the second round if he stays in the draft.

Agreed and agreed.

kyle weaver will not be there at 50 and i dont see the sonics keeping most of those later picks but i would even like him in the 30s. he can bring some much needed defense off the bench and should be a good contributor. also, pargo claims hes going back to school if hes not a 1st rounder. i would love to see mayo and lester in supes jerseys i think mayo will be a star and lester seems like he could be a big surprise in the 2nd round

A whole lotta overseas players who the Sonics won't have to sign this season.

Weaver will need to show that he can hit a jumper ever once in a while. If not he could be in for a horrible draft night experience and maybe even completely slip out of the draft.
BTW: Here's what i'd like to do, if we keep all our picks:
#4 Jerryd Bayless 6-3(i don't think that Mayo will be available)
#24 Robin Lopez 7-0
#32

#4 Bayless
#24 Ibaka
#32 Jawai
#46,#50,#56 Will Daniels, DaVon Hardin, Omer Asik, Semih Erden, Richard Roby. Any combo of those players

Dicktate is right. Honestly, I don't think a single poster in here believes that six rookies can make the Sonics team(unless Bennett has the ultimate panic attack over the court case and orders Presti do trade half the team and cut the payroll to bare bones).
Drafting overseas players, trading two or three picks for cash, future picks, in a package for a different player, or to package it with the #24 pick to move up all seem the most likely.

Why does Sean Singletary receive no attention at all??
He was the only player in Division 1 to average 19 points (19.9) and 6 assists (6.1). He is extremely competitive, scary quick and a great leader.
I thought this guy would go in the first round - and we're talking about getting Pargo? c'mon guys

He concentrated on improving his shooting this season. Check his stats. He improved from a horrible Junior year shooting from behind the arc (23.7%) to a huge improvement (36.4%). I think this shows his work ethic and that he is willing to make improvements to his game.

That's still not a great percentage and he needs some good workouts to climb up the draft boards again.

Sounds good. What pick would you take him with?

Size is the obvious issue... I think he measured under 6 feet tall. Also, he's not really the kind of player I would target. He's a low-efficiency guy who turns the ball over a lot and shoots a poor FG%. I'm into players who make the most of each possession. Maybe he's worth a look with the last of those second-round picks, if that. My guess is he goes undrafted.
EDIT: maybe I wouldn't hold all of that against him if he were a super-athletic freshman who could be molded. But he's a 22-year-old senior who ran the point for a team that wasn't very good. At this age, he is what he is.

Good point on the age -- but I feel there's an explanation to his FG%. I'm assuming that the Virginia coach told him to take as many shots as he wanted seeing that only 1 of the 8 players who averaged 15+mpg were shooting above 50% from the field.
Actually I just taked a look at his FG% when they had JR Reynolds last year, another good player on the team, and he still was shooting pretty low sooo yeah..
Hopefully we'll pick him up late 2nd give him a few years see what he cand o
