if you were the sonic's management which free agents would you go after this off-season?

Biedrins & Okafor. Sign & trade probably. Wilcox, 1sts & expirings. Doubtful, but that's what I'd try.

Also, if getting Brandon Rush or Nic Batum doesn't work out, I'd try for Utah's CJ Miles. I doubt Utah would even try to match. They're so loaded at that spot & they have a full roster anyway.

Also, the Sonics have a few of their own free agents to consider... Swift & Gelable. And Wilcox's contract is up at the end of the year. And Griffin is just like a free agent in that his contract is not guaranteed.

DJ, I see you talking a lot about targeting Brandon Rush. Have we worked him out or do we have plans to do so? Also, any word on us bringing in Batum? I know he just recently came over from Europe.

Yes, Rush was in Seattle. He worked out with a number of wings. Can't seem to find the link just this moment, however. Rush also worked out in Oakland over the weekend. The Sonics, along with a number of NBA teams, were there.

Nic Batum worked with a group in Europe last week and also attended the Oakland workout. Report was he did well in Oakland until he took a finger in the eye. Batum hasn't been to Seattle & don't know if he's scheduled.
