Yeah there are a bunch of people on the Bulls forum saying they have heard it also.

Too bad. If Mayo is available at #4 I'll be disappointed with the Sonics. But I guess it doesn't really matter since I live in Seattle.

Whoever is on KJR just said that the LA Times is reporting that the Clippers called about the swap but the Sonics declined.

ESPN is reporting this trade as done as per the words of Ric Bucher

EDIT: If this trade does go through and Mayo is available at four, it must be hugely disappointing, however, major props to Presti who keeps acquiring more picks (I think you guys would have 3 first rounders next year and 2 the one after that?)

I think you guys would have drafted Lopez regardless if Mayo is available, and if you wouldn't, I don't think Seattle would have done this trade. I don't think Mayo will slide to #4 anyway. The Clippers could be trying to position themselves to trade now with Minnesota for #3.

Seeing as the pick is lottery protected, I don't like the deal very much for the Sonics anymore. Also, in my humble opinion, Lopez over Mayo would be a mistake that this franchise would come to greatly regret.
