To me, it is and it always will be the team known as the OKC Good Faith Efforts.

I like that Soonics name.

How about Oklahoma City Cowboys?

There are plenty of names available, but it's hard to pick a good one.

OKC Carpetbaggers doesn't work, because that third syllable could be changed into something particularly vulgar.

OKC Sterns, perhaps, or the Stars of David, in honor of the man who made it all possible.

They could take a cue from their star, and call the team the OKC Fat F%(@s.

Combining two suggestions, one polite and one less so, how about the OKC Robber Barons?

We could take a cue from MLB and honor the team's heritage by calling them the Oklahoma City Angels of Seattle.

Or, there's always my personal favorite, the OKC Clay Bennett is a S#!^-Faced A$$holes.

Needless to say, I'm not a huge fan of how this all went down. Not to rub it in, but thank God the odds of one of my Philly teams being taken are slim to none.

How about Oklahoma City Outlaws? Seems like some cattle rustlers got your team and fled town. I saw the "Barons" uni on the prior post- it gave me an idea. For colors- White with Black Bars for the home uni. Black with white bars for the road. Gray lettering in the style of the "Dragnet" closing credits.

By the way, I'm a Bobcats fan and offer my sympathies on your team leaving. May your pain be eventually replaced with a new team...sooner rather than later.
