Point guard Luke Ridnour, who grew up in Washington and went to school in Oregon, was also excited to escape the repulsiveness of the Pacific Northwest.

“Growing up amongst the beautiful lakes and lush green forests has brought me to the point of depression. Add to that, I was drafted by the Supersonics and forced to live in this one-horse town they call Seattle. Now, with this latest franchise move, everything is coming up Ridnour!

"My only fear is that I'm traded before I get to reap the benefits of living in the OKC."

I know that it is supposed to be a joke, but it stil makes me sick to my stomach reading it. I don't find it funny one bit, and I'd love to see it taken down. What a slap in the face IMO. What do you guys think? Am I over-reacting for feeling this way?

The guy who wrote it is a Sonics fan. I thought it was funny, since he's taking a shot at the OKC issue. He's not making fun of Seattle in anyway.

I too found it quite funny. At first I thought it was real, but then figured out it clearly wasn't. I think it actually makes a good point about how this sucks for the players.
