Even Jalen Suggs mom would agree

Green, Mobley > Suggs

I'm dreaming big, I want one of those two. Mobley or Green please

Here's my guesses.

Most likely outcome is we come out with Suggs:
Cade
Mobley/Green
Green/Mobley
Suggs

If Houston wants Floor General for future:
Cade
Suggs
Mobley
Green

If all teams now value Guards/Forwards over Centers:
Cade
Green
Suggs
Mobley

And if Cleveland reaches ala Anthony Bennett

Cade
Mobley/Green
Kuminga
Mobley/Green/Suggs

For all those who point to Kuminga’s early season shooting as an indicator of his ability, I’d point you to Jalen Suggs’ first “5” games where he went 12 for 20 or 60% from 3. I guess he’ll be the greatest 3P shooter the world has ever seen? :o :o

Here's what I don't get with "potential" people.

9/10 times at the top of the draft, the better player STAYS the better player. Usually it's not until late lottery/mid late first that gambles pan out.

All you need to do is look at the last 20 drafts at point guards. Paul, Curry, Trae, Dame were all passed over for the "potential" of some schmuck. Take the Suggs and run.

In a perfect world, teams always draft BPA but we all know that isn't always the case.

I'm sure a bunch of you have already looked at positional need for the teams ahead of us and I think there's a decent chance that Mobley/Suggs drops to us. Assuming in all scenarios Cade goes #1, I can see Houston taking Green and Cleveland reaching for Kuminga to fill gaps.

If we were to take Kuminga then we would be rebuilding not retooling.

Am I correct in that assumption?

Clutch0z24 wrote:TBH With you for us to Jump into the 3rd pick to be able to take One of Mobley/Green and also keep our 4th pick we would prolly have to give up OG + Siakam + Future 1sts....No team trades draft picks that easy unless its a superstar going to the team and i would not put Siakam on that Superstar level so OG would have to be included for it to even be a conversation...

Now if you can actually pull off that trade it would be worth it IMO as good as OG is and Siakam is The combo of a Suggs/Mobley or Green pairing would just be too intriguing for me to pass up on .....But obv this is fantasy talk and won't happen

That's what I mean. If a team is willing to trade out of the top 4, I'd give them everything not nailed down excluding the 4th pick. We can tank for a decade and not get the same opportunity to draft a prospect close to the talent level. Thank you for being realistic. Even if we trade everything including future firsts and pick swaps, it's probably not enough. LOL to those who says Barnes at #4. That's like giving up a mountain of assets to Orlando if you think about it.

People say Kuminga's advantage is he is younger than Suggs by over 1 year. But Suggs has so far split his development time between football and basketball.

His QB experience gives Suggs an advantage as a playmaker who can quickly read defenses.

Kuminga's advantage is entirely physical. He's a 6'8 specimen. That said, we've seen many come in like him and just not develop. For every Jaylen Brown there's 10 Jeff Green's

We should not think the entire glass is half empty. Before we moved to four we would have been ecstatic at the prospect of drafting Kuminga. So, in all honesty Mobley, Green, Suggs, Kuminga are all legit considerations. Not sure that I can definitively say Green will be better than TrentJr taken as a whole. I trust TrentJr to translate as good 2-way player. A Raptor. So far Green showcased in a league where Boucher won finals MVP and defensive player of the year. Suggs is the best leader with best intangibles. Raps will let the gift of top 4 come to them. Contrary to people with wing bias I think Raps have it like this. Mobley. Suggs. Green. Kuminga. Or Kuminga - Green.

I read Kuminga's height is 6'6.

Ive watched the G-league games. If he's 6'6, then Green is 6'3-6'3.5
