did they record a 5 hour podcast?
Google "Hind Rajab"
Total Killed by Israel = 50,000+
Israel kills a child every 45 minutes and ban aid workers from bringing in baby formula
Total being starved by Israel = 500,000 -1,000,000
Speak up

Saw him in an airport once. Totally impossible to miss from the other side of the terminal.
Had a real hunch but was still massive.

Hah, I had to google that to know what you meant. 6'8 defensive end Bubba Smith played in the famous 10-10 tie between his Michigan State Spartans and Notre Dame in 1966. MSU fans had a chant, Kill Bubba Kill. #1 overall pick in the 67 draft by the Colts, played on the teams that lost Super Bowl 3 to Joe Namath, and beat the Cowboys in Super Bowl 5. Knee injury hampered his career, he was good but not a Hall of Fame player like defensive ends Deacon Jones and Carl Eller. Played 9 years, went into acting with Miller lite commercials, Police Academy and other movies
haha
i hope you watched the scene that he had to rip out the front seat of the car and drive from the backseat. your story completely reminded me of that moment in the movie lol
No but when I googled Police Academy Hightower it mentioned the scene right away. I knew Bubba was in the movie but never saw it, though it's from my era.
Wilt Chamberlain did TV ads for Volkswagen, I can't seem to copy them on my phone, will post next time I'm on laptop
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

I make nowhere near the money these guys make and could give less than a f.uck when my boss offers up a free dinner. This stuff works for a high school team where its an actual treat to go to a nice place
How’s your work environment and the team you work with? Only time I don’t go to free work stuff is when the team is trash.
Theres a difference between wanting and seeing the value of spending time with those you work with vs using a friggin free meal as some sort of motivational tool to up performance. This is a page outta every Canadian bank ... "If you hit your targets free timbits and pizza pizza for all". This is a running joke to those of us in the finance industry. How silly is it to offer up a free friggin meal to ppl making millions of dollars? What motivation does it even provide? Im sure darko organizes time for the team to hang together to build culture, of course that makes sense. We are talking about different things here

Sucks to be that jaded. Not sure why anyone would pass up a free meal unless they just hated their colleagues that much
Im good with my career thanks. I dont need a free meal dangled in front of me to up my performance. That doesnt motivate me and it wont motivate grown ass professionals making millions of dollars.

Get a Kobe/Jordan/Shaq/Pippen
After timeouts give the ball to Kobe/Jordan/Shaq/Pippen
In crunch time give the ball to Kobe/Jordan/Shaq/Kukoc
Any other Kobe/Jordan/Shaq/Pippen plays I'm missing?

hope you find some joy in your life bro. I enjoy my career and have a wonderful team. Going out for a dinner doesnt mean any motivation but just happy being with your colleagues.

I guess youre missing the point. Darko IS using a free meal as a motivation tool.

I’m not hating man, I promise. Your team sucks because your boss clearly has no idea how best to motivate. I hope you find a place that allows you to be your best self and do your best work. I hear you about big corporations and how everyone can really feel the inequity. Sorry if I came across as rude. Was being snarkily direct in the hopes you’d understand where I was coming from, but I realize I wasn’t very clear. I’m on your team. Bonuses over pizza. More flexibility in schedule over pizza. Being lenient with whatever it is you need eg. Childcare, benefits etc. over pizza.
I believe in Masai.

My boss does know how to motivate me and i am a motivated employee and none of it has to do with free dinners

About 6'8, mostly played forward, back-up C once in awhile. Someone said, in his playing days, he looks like he has an upside down coat hanger in his shirt. I don't know his wingspan but the story is he impressed his college coach Bill Fitch with his car trick. He'd sit in the back seat of a 4 door car, reach through both open windows and open both doors at the same time.
The first chapter in Nurse's book told of his meeting with Phil. It's now like a Raptor coach pilgrimage.
I love hearing those kinda stories Walt, you should talk about the 70s/80's more.
Phil and Walt Frazier were rookies together on the Knicks, and roommates that year.

Seeing the tweet on TV I just noticed Darko misspelled privilege.
