Bulls have a good pick this year, or maybe they send us their 2026 top 10 protected first in exchange one of our picks this year and we take on Ball and send back 20M in expirings (Lewis, OPJ, Thad). That's a 20M saving for them, gotta be worth some draft equity.

From Dallas, presumably O-Max or Hardy would be the ask. One of those guys and Holmes for Thad and OPJ's expirings would give Dallas like 10M to keep Derrick Jones JR and stay under the tax, and O-Max fits us okay as a backup 3 type. We could draft 2 bigs now that Koloko is gone and Boucher only has a year left, and with our 3rd pick a guard or a foreign project.

Chicago would probably be P-Will who's up for a new contract as an RFA.

He is...not getting the $25M AAV he was expecting, i'll put it that way.

Jokes aside, they really should use the space to absorb contracts and get some assets back.

Or maybe there's a RFA they like from a team that's a little stretched cap wise they could target.

I'm not too up to date with young(ish) RFAs this season, curious if you have any in mind? Otherwise absorbing some contracts for assets I'm 100% down for.

The top guys are probably

Patrick Williams
Isaac Okoro
Obi Toppin
Chuma Okeke
Saddiq Bey

Now that I look at this list, there's no much there.

Yikes, that's a bad list lol

The Raps could open enough space to offer him a max or near max contract, but the Knicks would just match it. They gave up a big package for him already and they'd look ridiculous if they lost him for nothing.

Plus, Masai spoke so much of about cap flexibility yesterday that I doubt he spends that kind of money on just one guy this offseason. If he wanted to max OG, he would've just kept him.
