Scottie gets so much love and I think he’s talented but there’s something missing with him that makes me worried about our future with him as the main guy. I expected him to be a bigger version of Lowry but he doesn’t have that same ability to really will his team to victory… we have enough talent that we should be dominating teams like this depleted grizzlies team. I expect more out of uim and am a bit disappointed that we’re still losing despite him putting up these numbers. I thought he would have a bigger impact on winning.

raptors with lowry were losing alot before the rudy trade. and kyle was 26/27 then.

It changed when they built around him and Demar and had better support around them. Is the argument right now that we don’t have enough supporting talent? Is the team not well constructed? I’m watching them play and I can’t really understand why they can’t put it together consistently. Offensively they have been better since the trade but consistent defense is still the issue… that to me is either the system or effort… they don’t have bad defensive players… even before the trade they had a lineup of Barnes of siakam poeltl Schroeder/trent I don’t understand how they were so bad defensively.
