I would say 24-25 is going to be a repeat of this year, so I would push your timeline by another year (maybe even two) with us joining the elites in 26-27 at the earliest.

2023-2024 = tank
2024-2025 = tank + develop
2025-2026 = develop + evaluate

it's more realistic to expect:

2023-2024 = tank
2024-2025 = tank + develop
2025-2026 = develop + evaluate

reality if you tank:

2023 - 2024 = tank for nothing (losing the pick) or get a so-so Player
2024 - 2025 = tank gets derailed cause talent is still too good but not good enough to make a run in the PO
2025 - 2026 = Turmoil. Players are sick and tired of losing and didnt develop much. First Trade Requests incoming.
2027 - ? = Be bad. Nobody wants to play here. Waiting for a miracle.

Don't get why people are still crapping on the Yak trade. We have a garbage coach that doesn't know how to utilize him. Look at Yak on the Spurs. Also, for those that are embracing the tank. Be careful what you wish for. If you don't have a quality C going into next off-season, this team will be an absolutely disaster to watch and before you know it guys like Barnes and IQ despite will start requesting trades. At that time you are really losing value.
