This was obviously the plan in the summer and they decided to let it play out into half the season to get the returns they wanted. Whether what was offered in the summer vs. when they made the trades is anyone's guess. I wish they could have started the process clean in the summer but it definitely couldn't have happened exactly the same because of the Brown aspect of the deal. Anyway, here we are. Fresh start.

Not that it matters because we probably have enough room now to do whatever we want with minimums and 10 days anyway but Spotrac has the tax threshold at 165,294,000 and us with 6,386,088 in space under the tax to play with. Now less I think with 10 day contracts by roughly 200K though they don't have that listed yet.

1. Force Barnes into ballhandling (he won't be a PG but those reps are very necessary for his next step as he will be a big ballhandling forward)
2. Force Quickley to learn how to score without hesitation and with defenders on him.
3. Keep working with Dick to expand his game
3. Keep RJ Barrett playing the same way as any expansion to his game will need offseason work
4. Agbaji needs to focus on D and corner 3s (first game gave me visions of him thinking he's more than he is - ie. What we let Aichuwa get away with here)
5. Figure out if you can get GTJ to pass the freakin ball and work like he did under Nurse on defense
6. Darko needs to be a coach and stop being a pushover. Coach guys who don't play the right way and for the love of the basketball his, don't be a robot with how you coach
7. Brown either focus on D and nothing else or he sits

This team is way too far back but they do have an outside chance at the play-in if the above come together.
