Masai needs to pull out all the stops in the summer of 2027 when he's unrestricted and I think we have a pretty good chance. 8-)

Nah, Masai too busy signing Birch 2.0 this offseason, overpaying some journeyman scrubs...

30ppg and stuff isnt as meaningful as it used to be, when you have embid and kat dropping 50 plus with ease.

Technically, the Nuggets didn't let him do it.

It looks like the shiny Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy won’t be visiting Jamal Murray’s hometown of Kitchener.

The Denver Nuggets told the Star in an email that the 2023 NBA title hardware has been kept safe and out of reach since the team’s parade in downtown Denver on June 15.

“Our owners have had it under lock and key since we won and no players or staff are allowed to take it anywhere,” Nuggets media relations director Nick O’Hayre wrote. “The players don’t take the trophy like the Stanley Cup; it doesn’t make rounds or get passed around.”

Masai wouldn't offer Pascal any longer than a three year extension, expiring in 2027.

If he picks up his PO, Jak expires in 2027.

RJ's deal expires in 2027.

Noticing a trend?

I would say
Nash
Murray
Shai

For now. Murray and Shai are catching up

Just typical negativity which is easily dismissed.

Wiggins or Bennett were probably more naturally talented. Shai worked harder and became way more skilled. Nash is the most skilled Canadian ever and in the running for most skilled basketball player ever but likely behind Steph.

Steve Nash helped change basketball with his high paced approach. Anytime you have someone who was part of changing the nature of the game, it's going to be tough to top.

Also to add,

The Suns' Seven Seconds Or Less style greatly influenced the game, with Nash being the main orchestrator.

He also won two MVPs, led the league in assists five times, is the only player in NBA history to reach the 50/40/90 club more than two times (he did it 4), and was the engine of the highest ranked offenses in the NBA for 9 straight years.

Shai is a great player and has the potential, but still has a long way to go before coming close to Nash's 1st ballot HOF resume.
