I find myself torn on who I would rather see advance from the west. The Ant story vs Kyrie redemption + Luka ascension. Both seem compelling.

Yeah, the West series should be the Finals.

luka for sure...i like ant but luka is on another level...i would've preferred a jokic vs luka series also.

I think Ant would've been more fun but Luka is more deserving & tbh considering Kyrie's age now is the time it needs to happen.

I think an obvious trade would be Trae Young and Capela for Kat and Mike Conley.

Analytics in the NBA bring to mind The Question Concerning Technology by Martin Heidegger. Particularly the attitudes towards tech—bringing-forth and challenging-forth.

You watch teams like Miami or Denver and their offensive approach is like craftsmanship. The system is consistent with the skillset and ability of the roster. The roster's strengths are in symbiosis with analytics. When I watch them play it feels as if they're always taking the right shots.

Conversely, Boston or the Harden Rockets are and were satisfied with any analytically appropriate shot. When things don't go right we call it variance but the approach doesn't seem right. It's out of sync. It's like imposing a certain set of instructions regardless of the material...

Pretentious, I know. Just some thoughts.

That was as painful a chokejob by Indiana as I've seen in a while. Toronto against the Cavs flashback... only the Celtics are nowhere near as good an opponent

celtics were more or less coasting this whole game. they did almost threw it away but woke up at the last second.

Maybe so, but Indiana blew multiple chances to put themselves in a position to win (especially Pascal). The lights were too bright

Pacers were playing with house money.

Boston didn't play the toughest teams to begin with and on top of that, all of their opponents were missing their best player for multiple games in the series -- MIA without Jimmy, CLE without Mitchell, IND without Hali.

This has to be one of the easiest roads to the finals ever.

That Hayward move was such a miss when they clearly could have used a C like Gafford.

Tonight's game is on SN360. Smdh these networks never cease to piss me off banishing hoops to their "premium" channels. I didn't think we'd have to live through this after 2019.
