Correct me if I’m wrong but Tyler Smith was at that shoot-around too. I think it’s more likely he’s the guy we’re looking at.

An understated point. There's probably part of Bronny that would want to stay another year in college, but he's probably being told this is the draft year to make it in or potentially miss out.
He looks good as a raw athletic prospect but the name is going to put too big of a spotlight on him too early.
He's listed as 6'1" in socks
Yeah, he measured at 6'1.5" barefoot, with a 6'7"wingspan and 40.5"vert, those are almost exactly Derrick Rose's draft stats, except he's about 20 pounds heavier at 210 lbs.
If he can develop the skills needed to be a good combo guard is the question.

What was the criteria for signing after the draft to any team (his chosen team) that offered him the situation his camp wants (even if lower $)
He has to enter the draft and go “undrafted” to be able to sign with any team. Same path FVV took.
Yes, but Fred was a senior and automatically qualified for the draft. Bronny declares because he knows the worst-case scenario for him is signing with the Lakers and living his dad's dream. Easy call.

I'm sorry, what now lol? Jak is none of those things, except maybe lengthy?
Definitely gonna show some love for Jak here! Especially people are mad about the trade to get him back...
Jak is very nimble for his size. Great footwork. I never feel nervous when he's switched onto smaller guards. Let's just say I don't think Rudy Gobert is better than Poeltl when switched onto Kyrie, and that's good enough for me. Poeltl also guards bruising bigs such as JV well enough.
Obviously most Raptors fans would rather own the 8th pick in this draft than Poeltl. But the likelihood of the 8th pick turning out to be a better player than Poeltl is in my opinion quite low, clearly less than 50%.

You're saying that Jak, would be better than the reigning DPOTY centre.....man, I can accept some homerism, but this is a bit much. There isn't a centre in the NBA who can guard Kyrie well, and I would bet my house that Gobert can do a better job than Jak. This is absurd.

Props TZ!

He was not saying Yak is better than Gobert.....he was citing a very specific instance of being switched on to smaller guards. Homerism is not the problem with Yak, irrational TWO hate is.

Yes, and if you took your horse blinders off, you would see that I addressed that specific instance directly. He said Jak is better than Gobert at defending Kyrie. So yes, he said Jak is better in that instance.
Jakob Poeltl would not guard Kyrie better than Gobert. Period.
This has nothing to do with TWO or tanking, you just have no argument so you have to fall back on that. Jak is not a mobile big by any definition of the word, to play Kyrie mobility is extremely useful, Gobert is more mobile than Jak, he's also won DPOTY multiple times. He is in every objective sense of the word, a better defensive centre than Jak. But sure, it's hate.

Props TZ!

Whatever man, this is so tired. Yak is more mobile than Gobert, and its not even close.

Right now he's a SG in a PG body. I guess he could be a bench guard like say a Josh Green or Jaden Hardy. With #31, whatever but not with #19.
