I know some people will defend this FO forever because we won a title, but Nembhard has averaged 9 and 4 for two seasons shooting 35% from three. At the time of the trade he was playing poorly.
Even if he is highly loved he is a back up PG due for a major pay bump at a position where you have a franchise guy. Like pretty much where IQ was at. The Knicks who hate us and have an ongoing lawsuit included IQ.
Hell even the Jazz sent us Agbaji with KO. We were robbed by Indy not getting a single prospect back. And to say Siakam's agent had us over a barrel may be somewhat true but the FO dithered for two years over this asset they must have knew they could not afford to max out.
