Dell doesn't irritate me though. I fully embraced the Tampa tank, as well as this season's tank partly when Pascal was traded, and 200% once Scottie went down.
I too am a situational tanker. Full balanced roster with everyone healthy? No. Significant injury issues with minimal chance to make the playoffs? Yes, indeed.
That's why tanking this upcoming year depends on Jakob. If he's here in September, he will expect the team to try and win every game. It would not be treating him right if we kept him and tanked. If we trade him, then I'm fine with a roster creation tank.
