Is PG13 now better than Jimmy was in 2019? I dno.

Maxey is better than Simmons. But Gordon worse than JJ, and Oubre worse than Harris. So...I dno.

Nevermind the huge injury/age concerns

I’d say that PG now is not better than 2019 Jimmy but the main difference is healthy Embiid now is much better than healthy Embiid in 2019.

Yeah, I excluded him since he didn't play any of the playoffs that year, but he was a difference maker even as a sophomore. Man, that team was so deep.

There really wasn't any meaningful free agents in the market that made sense. They used a bit of extra cap space for a couple small assets in the Mcdaniels deal and kept Brown in the hopes of trading him for something else

Basically this should of never happened as the Clippers cheaping out on PG when he wanted to stay makes zero sense. 2nd apron concerns or whatever, they are doing nothing in whatever remaining years that Kawhi has without him.

The Sixers getting this gift is the difference between them having Embiid leaving rumours all season instead of having the next 3 years of what the Clippers experienced for the last 5: the "wow look how good we are oh no everyone's injured again".
