I was thinking Kawhi LA all day everyday. I got to admit, listening to PG talk he sounds convincing that they seriously considered Toronto. The price was ultimately too steep. Balmer got his guy.

Given everything that has been said…just the other day Nurse said in an interview that he knew Kawai was leaving too…I am puzzled by the serious confusion this would cause if it seemed to contradict it, but I would at least understand the discussion. That's not what Nurse said at all.

Nurse stated that when he first met Kawhi he was told by Kawhi that he doesn't know what will happen at the of the season but he will give it his all. Based on this early conversation Nurse concluded he wasn't shocked that Kawhi left.

Everybody knew Kawhi initially did not have intentions of staying in Toronto, obviously. However, that changed after we actually won a championship.
