Sounds like this might drag for a bit

He said it would take a couple of days or a couple of months. imo that means that the buyout is the agreed upon option, but the terms are the sticking point.

Or they are waiting for Sasha’s decision . Maybe the FO made their pitch but is awaiting his decision . Maybe the GO is still hoping they’ve convince him to stays and plays under Darko. Or maybe it’s like you said

I think it could go both ways based on Masai’s comment except at the moment a quick resolution appears in Sasha’s end ?

If we negotiate a deal for Vezenkov to put money on the table then can we still waive and stretch his contract?

Funny I took it to mean that they want his contract for trade and they will have to wait until that deal presents itself. It is a month before he can be combined in trade right? I think they met with Sasha and told him his role and he didn’t like it so they told his agent that he’d have to wait until his next team for a buyout. Then they jumped the gun and negotiated a new deal for when he gets released and the media in Greece got a hold of it in an attempt to speed up the timeline. Anyway that is the end of story time with Zeno.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Sasha Vezenkov's final contract numbers with Olympiacos were 5 years and €23 million euros net income. So he gets €23 million euros after all the taxes, agent fees, union dues and fees, etc., are paid.

His Olympiacos contract is the equivalent money value of a 5 year $63 million NBA contract. It is the second largest contract in the history of Europe, after Nikola Mirotic's contract with Barca, which was the money equivalent of a 6 year $80 million contract in the NBA.

Too bad he couldn't cut it in the nba. Glad to see him relegated to/renumerated by the European division where his skills are more appreciated by real basketball fans like yourself.
