Like I said, we're likely not a playoff team but let's see what our actual starters and rotation guys can do before sticking a fork in them.

There were people saying this team could win 40-45 games, I am not even joking. As recently as a few weeks back, the level of delusion some posters have hurts my brain.

I'm not saying this game is the deciding factor, but I don't need to see BBQ to determine this team isn't good. We lost by 20 to the Wiz, the guys who lost tonight, will still be there to lose the games when BBQ are there and healthy. This team wouldn't be able to manage a .500 record with BBQ playing 40mpg. Our depth is nonexistent, that isn't going to change when pre-season is done. If Boucher didn't play like Curry out there, this is a 40pt blow out lol.

Most people said 30+, dont pick out the one guy that said 40. But its you again, misrepresenting the opinion of others. And yes, by default we will be a play-in team -> which potentially could lead to the playoffs. Stop beeing so miserable by putting everything in a negative light. It was an exbhition game - nothing more.

I assume I’m the guy he’s talking about to win 40.

What he is ignoring is I said that would require pretty much everything going right (Barnes all-nba leap, IQ or RJ all-star leap, healthy, etc.) and I said I could also see us winning as few as 20-25.

But hey, outrage is more fun so he feels smart.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

I just read this thread and holy. People struggle with critical thinking.

We lost to a wizards team in which we missed 3 starters, and played our remaining rotation pieces <20 minutes each.

But hey, if yall wanna be outraged and draw conclusions because Washington’s starters / 2nd stringers destroyed DJ Carton, Ramsey, Battle, etc. then all the power to you.

When Devlin hits us with the “here comes RJ with Dick trailing behind him!” We’ll know it’s a double entendre

It's very disheartening that people would decide to post such unfounded scurrilous rumors on this site - I hope the moderators give serious considerations to banning such posters.

Why? What's so special about this site? It's an online forum where people **** around and talk about a thing that is out of their control, no different from reddit or twitter or Facebook.

It's basketball, it's not that serious.

Because just because other places are cess-pools does not mean everywhere must be.

This place is supposed to be better than that.

Preseason is there for conditioning, testing new things and evaluating. Personally won’t put too much emphasis on stats and w/l. Loren Wood once lead in blk in preseason if I remember correctly.

Despite the stats, SB was really rusty, handling, decision making, etc. I still prefer him playing off the ball, setting pick in the PnR situation, looking forward to IQ/SB and RJ/SB PnR combo.

They were running a lot of pick and roll, but couldn’t effectively create something, often resulting turnovers.

Boucher is playing good so far. I would be surprised if he doesn’t get minute going into the season. He is much better than Carlson.

Agbaji was showing some life in this game.

Mogbo and Shead they look like solid bench players. They play within their limits. Only wondering if they can improve on scoring.

Mitchell is expendable, but we probably keeping him for a while to drive up the value.

Chomche got schooled by JV. That’s expected.

Without RJB and IQ, our best shooters, we don’t have much shooting.

We needed size, so we drafted 2 small guys, one undersized big, and another big who is years away.
Bruno Fernando is the best guy we could sign as backup center?
Masai and Bobby need to go.

I hate how he builds his teams. Losing is one thing but the basketball is boring as f*ck to go with it.

As I stated, we have four quality nbaers on the team. Correction, I add Boucher. The rest, including gradey, are all scrubs...

But no worries, Masai got us covered with quality vet signings like olnyk and brown...
