Are you willing to take that risk? Career 32% 3pt shooter who was a throw in for a salary dump. Has done zero to increase his value this year. Anything more than the min and it's a mistake.

Meh I would probably pay up to like 6-7M? That is like Jevon Carter, Kenrich Williams, Bertans, money. AKA - 9th/10th/11th men

He certainly is a rotational piece, and at worst he becomes a nice number to trade with. IDK how much you spend tryin to make trades, but having different salary numbers is quite beneficial to being able to make trades without having to include a bunch of different pieces.

Obviously depends on what happens with the other expiring guys, but Davion at his current rate (6.4M) is decent value and is also nice because if he "has" to be thrown in a trade you don't ultimately care. On the other hand, if Shead has to be thrown in you also dont care because Davion would still be around.

tyus jones got the min and he is a way better player in today's nba. i like davion but he has no real place overall. you need 4 other big time scorers on the court and even then his lack in of offense would hurt.

he is a min player in today's nba economics.

Tyus Jones also falls into the "sign a min with a good team with a guaranteed starting spot to rehab value". Something we simply cant do. he wouldn't have taken $6M to sign here.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.
