I know it is laughably wrong. That's why I used to highlight how absurd your original statement is.
I think you should watch more basketball outside of the Raptors is what this is telling me.
If you truly believe RJ and IQ can become above average perimeter defenders then god bless.
I of course, didn't say that.
I highlighted that your logic is flawed, which you then agreed with, contradicting your original statement.

It's not Dick vs Walter. Both are cheap options, you can have both.
IQ on the other hand...

Doc said to Darko "When your rope here has run out, I'm always looking for a great assistant."

You might be right. You might also be surprised.
It's possible. He just doesn't have leadership qualities from what I can see as a fan.

Barrett is an inefficient volume scorer who plays no defense. That has been the case for his entire career apart from a hot shooting stretch he had after getting traded last season.
When this FO is replaced (and it will be once Rogers takes over), he will certainly be moved if not before there.
So much barf in one post.
First off, eff rogers. How’re the jays looking this offseason? Soto? LMAO
Trading Demar got us a chip and Masai apologizes to Demar to this day. He was as close to untouchable as it gets and was traded for a player better than him. If we trade RJ and Poeltl for Giannis count me in.
The Jays are an embarrassment but that has everything to do with their poor FO (just like the Raptors) and nothing to do with their ownership situation (which is clearly the best it has been since 1993).
And RJ is much worse than Demar, hence being a poor man’s DeRozan. They won’t get much of anything for him but he’s not worth much of anything. Obviously not a core guy but a great guy to have around on a losing team
Comparing the Jays FO to this one is comedic.
This FO won a chip, had about a decade run of consistent playoff achievement and amazing regular season results. They have drafted and developed well.
Jays have a shot with James Click involved now.
Rogers ownership is trash. Too many meddlers. Too many entitled people. Thank goodness for Larry T to buffer the idiocy. Just because you have an above average payroll doesn’t make you solid ownership. When you get the dome and the team for pennies on the dollar and you fail to provide the fans with a solid experience for years and instead choose to pad your company’s bottom line that’s nonsense.
Put it this way - Toronto is a big market team considering their market is literally Canada. They aren’t run that way.
I believe in Masai.

Funny this comment is right after Gradey hits a couple threes and Jakobe no rim bricks one off the backboard.
We need both these guys to play and get better.
Don't disagree with the latter but Ja'Kobe is very clearly the better defender and certainly puts in more effort on that end
Even when he's not hitting shots, Walter is making an impact whereas Dick is...not.
I think Gradey can make an impact in other areas. He's in a down stretch right now. He puts in effort on D, Jakobe simply has the better tools on that end.
