As for the difference, the Cavs is way better on defense, particularly, interior defense, where you got 2 shot blockers, while both Barnes and Poeltl are overrated on defense, otherwise, we won't be at the bottom on defense.

Stop it man. Barrett is not a better scorer than Ingram :lol: Nor is he better than Scottie like you've also claimed.

Barnes has the worst TS% with similar USG% and AST% to Ingram and Barrett, so I am unsure how you think Barnes is good on offense. Barnes is good for not being a below average defender, while Ingram and Barrett are mostly negatives on DBPM.

As for Barrett vs Ingram, I think we shall see soon.

Good thing there’s a lot more to offense than TS%.

How they score, role, etc. matter.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

I stopped right here.

No, he doesn't. If he did, he wouldn't have been so mediocre for most of the past decade. Period, full stop. We aren't getting a top-5 scorer. He might end up being a good scorer for us, but we could do without this sort of needless hyperbole.

Allen = Yak
Mobley = Barnes
Garland = Ingram
Mitchell > Quickly + RJ

If we can package RJ and picks for someone like Booker, then we would be making serious noise, Im hoping to see the Sun's downfall

Dylan Harper or VJ Edgecombe :D

Keep RJ and Dick, Walter for the bench.

See how that goes / develops before making consolidation trades.

Agreed. Ingram is a "fine" talent, fringe all-star level. Siakam is actually a close comp in terms of talent level. Siakam is overall better because he plays defense but Ingram is the more dynamic scorer. I am not necessarily against BI the player, but people need to be realistic.

Yeah, a crappier Siakam is probably a reasonable comparison for when he's healthy, which is rare. Ingram has had almost a decade to be more than a mediocre scorer, though, and he hasn't turned that corner. He isn't likely to do so with us. He may have some positive impact, but if he were a top-5 scorer, he'd have looked a LOT better for the Pels over the nearly 500 games he's already played in the NBA. People here are mostly losing patience with Scottie's development, and rightly so if the goal is focal scorer. Ingram almost double the number of NBA games: he is who he is at this point, mostly.

Tbf no one anticipated the Cavs being this good either.

Garland took a massive leap. As did Mobley.

If IQ and Barnes take massive leaps next year, we'll be a 50+ win team as well.
