Maybe he's trying to start a villian arc, if his son makes it to the NBA. His version of Buffalo Bills, Jim Kelly.

Steph Curry's basketball confidence level probably went through the roof while he was living here,
with the competition level he played against at school, and getting to practice with 2 future hall of famers in Vince and Tmac.

That's not to ignore the school shootings though and I get where thats a lot of discomfort comes from. Some of the best and loyal friends I have are gun owners and they have similar political views on them as your coworker.

i am seeing us Canadians warm up to the idea of having guns to protect themselves. With break ins, jewelery store robberies , car thefts en masse, and the courts letting the thieves off on bail, people are opening up to guns.

Watched that CV video, he tried, but didn't help lol. He just made Thaddeus Young's point. I can bet CV likes it more in Toronto than NY though.

Businesses having guns after experiencing an armed robbery; I can see that. Canadians feeling they need a gun on their person to feel safe, no, we're not there.

They key to reducing crime is reducing desperation. Far too many Americans have mountains of medical debt. In Canada, our health care system, regardless of the current under-staffing we are experiencing due to an aging population, gives a sense that we care for each other.

Americans do not care for each other outside of their cultural or local community.

Ya...no.

Let me refresh your memory...

Things went wrong when editors used the tweets for a large display on the newspaper’s front page.

“If an unvaccinated person catches it from someone who is vaccinated, boo-hoo, too bad.”

“I have no empathy left for the wilfully unvaccinated. Let them die.”

“I honestly don’t care if they die from COVID. Not even a little bit.”

If a person chose not to get vaccinated, but followed distancing protocols and masking, very few had a problem with that.

I observed a man, much larger than I, aggressively berate a petite female cashier for insisting he wear a mask in the store. She was frightened and at my age and size I really didn't feel like being punched for sticking up for her. Those people deserve the push back they got. Hoping they die is an outlier.

Further to my point, the vast majority of Canadians will sacrifice their tax dollars, and temporarily their freedoms, to ensure a healthy society. Most Americans, along with the conspiracy supporting small minority of Canadians, are only interested in themselves.

So I should have said "most Canadians". I stand corrected.

The mods will shut this down, so this is my last post on the topic.
