We should acquire Conley+pick for Calderon.

I was thinking Conley also. Expirings might do it, as they are looking to move Mayo in to the PG spot.

I think they've all but given up on him, it just may take an expiring contract.

Well yeah, he's a backup to a borderline all-star in Brooks. Everyone here is proposing we bring him in to start or be a backup to Jack.

I'm a huge fan of Lowry, but he's a high quality back-up on a good team, not a starter.

I like Lowry as much as the next guy, tough, gritty, solid PG... but the direction this franchise should be heading in is not in his talent bracket. I think we need a game changing athletic PG who's capable of making a significant difference on both ends of the floor at a high level. The East is not getting any easier, guys like Wall, Rose, Rondo, Jennings are the direction this conference is heading in and I don't want my team playing catchup for years to come.

Now if we're talking about him being a backup to ^^^^ said PG then you would have my attention, but not as the guy running the show.

Exactly, the only way he fits into the Raptors line-up atm is if Jose and Jack are gone.

Until they do, we have to restrain ourselves and look for the PG of the future, and Lowry is just a decent backup.

+1, don't forget about Jennings. The trending is obvious. Hopefully we get in on the action in next year's draft.

Don't forget Rondo either

That reminds me, last night during the game DD was tweeting, and asking people to vote on who to take, Rondo or Nash. Rondo won. That guy has improved alot over the past couple of seasons. His defense is very impressive, he's become a leader (on a team with KG,Sheed,Pierce, etc) and his offense has really been shining.

You think Memphis goes for it? I would love that trade, but I just don't think Memphis is willing to take on that much money. I could see them being very interested in Jack though.

Rondo has been playing well, but the level of competition at his opposing position (Bibby, Nelson) just blows. Its disappointing that Orlando operates so much better against the better teams in the league without Jameer Nelson running their offense - there's no explanation needed how badly he sucks defensively (Rondo schools him off the dribble 9/10 with absolute ease), its kind of an indication as to why Orlando seemed more effective last year with Alston and Turkoglu running much of their half court sets.
