lol Wanting to hire the coach that got fired with what 5 games remaining before playoffs?

If there wasn't a bigger red flag about behind the scenes issues...

Darko gets a full year to prove he can continue to develop and now start winning. Next season we can start drooling over random overhyped coaches

Music of my mind is probably my #2. Even tho a bunch of my favorite songs of his are on "songs in the key...." I find that's also the one where I skip the most songs.

Any way you want to put it.....he's the greatest living recording artist imo. The only artist i probably put ahead of him is James brown.

Innervisions is great, and the only album of his I've listened to cover-to-cover! I only realized the weakness of my rizz... and how little of the great Stevie Wonder I've listened to.

I will listen to the albums recommended by my brothers you and WaltFrazier today thank you.

I saw a conspiracy theory that he can actually see (pun unintended)

I got to see that show at the ACC around 10 years ago where he played songs in the key of life in it's entirety. The only arena show that I didn't regret attending. It's hard to describe his style. No matter what instrument he's playing....he approaches it in a such a unique way.

Like for example the song "visions" on innervisions. The guitar playing is so original. During the solo he is playing the guitar like he is mimicking bird noises. One could watch Stevie wonder play a rare instrument for the first time he ever played it....all you would hear is beautiful, purely instinctive music. A song that always stuck put to me is "Jesus children of america". Not typically one thinks about first when it comes to Stevie....but that song cuts DEEP for me.

When he passes...it should be declared a national holiday in the US. I remember when James Brown passed....George Bush actually did a really good job acknowledging it even tho it was Xmas eve.

He's certainly one of the great musical prodigies in musical history!!! It's impossible to over-state his rizz.

Malone is a vet-favouring coach who helped them win a chip, plus has the Jokic boost. And he STILL got fired despite playing the vets, and allegedly lost the lockerroom.

Why would a young rebuilding team like us go after a coach like him? It'd be like bringing back Nurse. What's the point? In fact, I could see him going to a team like PHI or even PHX.

Let's also not forget how horrible EVERYONE has looked after leaving Jokic, from Brown to KCP. The coach would be the same, esp vet-guys. Look at how even Phil Jackson flopped without a top 10 talent to rely on.

Innervisions is a classic yeah but my my favorite is the underrated Fulfillingness First Finale. I always figured the clunky album title kept it from being more popular.

He was on a roll from Music of My Mind in 72, Talking Book right after, Innervisions 73 and FFF in 74.

I saw Shaq on TV, swear Stevie got into an apartment elevator in LA, said hi Shaq, then pressed the button to his floor . Shaq seemed convinced he can see, I have no idea what to think.

Never saw him live, wish I had. I always wondered what it would be like, because in the 70s albums we've been discussing he was famous for playing all the instruments on most songs.

I refuse to pay for arena or stadium concerts but I made an exception because he was playing songs in the key of life entirely on this tour. It still isn't the same to see music in arena though. But it's not like stevie is gonna play theaters.

I saw prince play in a small venue though. Those surprise concerts he did in toronto to warm up for his last tour. I scored tickets thru my TV station. A 3 hour prince show for an audience of 800 ppl with perfect sound conditions. Ppl in the audience were crying lol. Like we were little girls watching a boy band.

I Agree.

First i am not sold on Malone for this team anyway from a character standpoint and style of coaching.
Second we are still in the evaluating phase in regards to our roster. Next year is the year we finally get to see what we actually have or need.

This year was sadly a waste of a season with barely any progress. Its sad that the guy with the biggest improvement is a 29year old veteran and not the young guys. (rookies are a seperate topic)

I am not a fan of Darko, but he als had it though the time he was here. Next year is the first year he actually can go all out and show what he is capable of or not.

What if we waited out this rebuild for another year or two and bring back Nick Nurse? By that time Masai might have moved on also?

I don't think coaching is our problem right now. Moving on from Darko feels a little like shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. Worth seeing what he can do as the team quality improves.
