So you bump a 2.5 month old thread just to bitch in a different one? The others were not enough?

We were 8-31 and 2nd position of draft lottery, then we started that win streak in Jan to pump our veteran's trade values. Many called it "trust the process", I foresaw that it was going to hurt our draft position

My prediction came true. So I bumped it.

I actually don't blame you. People were relentlessly optimistic about a top 5 pick. We are 9th and have to live with it, but that is not a bad thing.

I do want to say the last few MVPs are not all high lotto other than Embiid who was practically gifted an MVP over Jokic:

2025 likely MVP:
SGA (11)
Nikola Jokic (41)
Joel Embiid (3)
Giannis (15)

Crazy to think going back OKC has had three MVPs - Harden, Durant, Westbrook and now will add SGA. That team can draft and build.

Looking at their current iteration the their best players are SGA (11), Jalen Williams (12) and Chet Holmgren (2). Chet's been arguably their most underachieving player in the playoffs.

The Knicks have star players like Jalen Brunson (33), OG (23) and Mikal Bridges (10) with KAT (1). Again, KAT's a very good player but this is clearly Brunson's team. Hopefully, Toronto strikes gold.
