Probably between Demin, Maluach and Essengue. Queen has a shot as he has the hometime draw. I picked Maluach here.

I think all the mocks kind of piggy back each other and no one really has a clue. Someone projected to go #15 could go #6 or #7 and a guy like Ace could go #3 or #13.

I would argue they can not afford to swing for the fences. They absolutely need something out of this draft.
They're horrible, but they have picks coming up. It's not like they've ever been in a rush to make a deep playoff run ever since Wall went down. They might as well go for a PHI style tank.

I voted Jakucionis. He'd be a fun pick for them. And could help Sarr out. Hard to draft Kon when you already have Kispert. Who I like as a player. Fears would make sense. Lots of options.

I think the new management has done alright. It's too early to say anything about last year's picks. Bub, Kyshawn and Sarr all showed some promise. Coulibaly needs to take a big step this season. Hopefully Kispert too. They ditched Kuzma and Beal and got back assets for them. That's a huge win. Replaced them with Smart, Middleton and Brogdon. They seem to have better direction than they did previously.

I really hope Fears goes here, worried he might fall.

Not a believer? He makes me worried. Although he is mighty impressive with his ball control and moves his feet so well.

They've had 5 top 10 picks over the last 6 drafts and they still aren't very close to building a playoff core let alone a championship core.
#2 - A Sarr
#7 - B Coulibaly
#10 - J Davis
#15 - Kispert
#9 - D Avdija
#9 - R Hachimura
It’s a long list of draft busts for that franchise. Bradley Beal was the one time they actually got it right and that was ages ago.

Yeah I'm not an outright hater, but I do think what made him special at OKC isn't going to be such a differentiator at the NBA (tight handle + speed). He's kind of a slight guard, neutral wingspan and had shaky shooting. Also while he was elite at getting to the rim and applying pressure, he only had decent finishing %s.
I liked Keandre's analysis at Hoop Intellect. Players he was reminded of were other decent-to-good combo guards that found enough shooting and were mediocre defensively: Jeff Teague, Monta Ellis (great shooting outcome), Reggie Jackson (poor shooting outcome, better D).
I'm just far more intrigued by one of the big wings. The dream is Maluach, but I think he'll be gone.
