Raptors going back to red and purple?

I dunno, I can't see the Raptors ever going with a blue color scheme. Especially when they've been using purple so much lately in their promotions.

Of course, there's the real possibility there isn't going to be a rebrand.

I agree, to my dismay, that's probably the case... I'm just not a fan of purple.

If they’re gonna do it, then do it. Stop the teasing. Other franchises change jerseys every 2-4 years and these guys have been sitting on a bland design for eternity.

I was thinking that too. I assumed this was an older thread somebody bumped, not a new one. Because it seems like there's a thread about new unis/colours etc every six months or so.

Always with the same ideas, especially no more chevrons.

The Shawn Kemp Sonics one went from 1978-95. They had their two straight Finals appearances vs Bullets in 78 and 79 in those uni's, with Dennis Johnson, Gus Williams and Jack Sikma, long before Kemp and Gary Payton wore them. They were nice, but in 95 they switched to an ugly darker green and dark red.

The teal late 90s Pistons were terrible, and GM Joe Dumars thankfully switched back to the iconic Bad Boys blue red and white
