The sticker shock is there, but one of those picks is probably the price of taking KCP.

Bane might be better than anyone currently on the Raptors. I wouldn’t trade Scottie for him, but on-court impact in a game tomorrow? It’s gotta be close if it doesn’t favour Bane.

Orlando *should* finally start to put it together. Start mentally preparing yourself for Suggs hype right now.

In terms of on court impact? Jak/BI/Scottie all supersede him. He’s in the IQ/RJ tier.

I’m observing a pattern where you undervalue our players and overrate others. Is that your intention, or is Bane just a person you disproportionately value?

OKC and Indiana can add one of those players to their rosters for game 6.

Your first and second sentences don’t seem to be related and I don’t be quite understand how the third relates to them.

Are you saying that if Indiana and OKC had the chance to add any one player to their team right now from Scottie, BI, IQ, Jak and Bane they would both add Bane? Because I disagree on that as well. IMO Indy chooses Jak or BI and OKC chooses Scottie.

The third sentence is an acknowledgement that just because the two finals teams would choose to add him to their roster wouldn’t necessarily mean he’s the best of the 4. However, he’s closer to being the best (arguable) than he is to being IQ/RJ level (ridiculous).

I know you're smart enough to realize the value of the picks we got vs the value of the picks in this trade.

We got 2 picks in a crappy draft with the 3rd one projected to be in the 20s in 2026. Memphis got the 15th pick in a stacked draft + unprotected Was/PHO pick + 2 unprotected picks and a top 2 swap

Masai put himself into a corner willingly so thats his fault and why its held against him. Regardless, we all hope that was the old and weak Masai... we are getting his prime version going forward

Orlando also gave up the picks that they did because they gave up Cole Anthony and KCP who are going to make a combined 35 million a year for the next three years.
