Imagine still talking about the Kawhi trade now, FO still clutching those member berries.

Props TZ!

Re: Bobby Webster Video Interview (talks nba draft, kawhi deal)
As long as he knows Durant and Sabonis are not Kawhi type opportunities to throw our assets at
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars
Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid
There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

I didn’t give this a fair enough shake. As a source of current news or draft info this isn’t much but for a listen it’s pretty good and interesting, Bobby seems like a smart relable basketball nerd.

Was he supposed to say that was long ago let’s talk about something else? This comment literally proves everything you post is negative.

Is that a MTG reference? It’s been a minute since I participated in that. Had a mono white deck with shadow back in the day.
I believe in Masai.

I thought in the interview he even said that San Antonio approached him about Kawhi at Summer League.
I think we lucked into that one otherwise we would have seen a few Lakers titles and Brandon Ingram would be on the Spurs.
He was approached because of his relationship with Brian Wright that went back several years to when they were both in college.
Some of you guys just don't understand life honestly. I'm not the biggest Bobby fan, but this is an epic reach. You're grasping bruh.

Speaking of understanding life -- So under your logic, Bobby knows the guy since college and this Brian Wright guy offers to deal his superstar player to Bobby because they are friends? You have to remember that Wright would have just been made GM at the time after RC Bufford got promoted.
Like Masai, RC Bufford really makes the big decisions, and it was documented he wasn't going to send Kawhi to LA which were his wishes.

Instead he was sent to Toronto and the Spurs initiated that. According to Bobby, he was approached by Wright, so it is not like Bobby is the architect of any of it. Friend or no, RC wanted to send Kawhi to the literal polar opposite of LA. It could not be more spite filled than that. If you listen to the interview, even Bobby seemed taken aback when Wright told him "things were at 2 yard line" with the Kawhi deal.

It's Friday.
Brighten up.
He got asked about the trade. What's he supposed to do? Ignore?

In my defence, it was Wednesday when I said that, which is objectively the worst day of the week after Monday.

Props TZ!

Any team could’ve had Kawhi. Lakers just weren’t offering enough and thought they could get him cheap. Spurs took the best offer.

Yes. It’s easier to brokerage a deal with someone you trust and have long pre existing relationship with than someone you don’t know at all. It’s almost like these two front offices have made multiple deals with one another since.
Welcome to life.
