We win 3 more games that last year when we were intentionally losing games?

Cmon bro. Your negavitiy is getting out of control.

I don't see us with a .500% record. I stand by it. Just like the last few years, I predicted us to be somewhere between 20 and 35 W. Things didn't change sadly, so we still stuck in that range. Ingram won't move the needle, he's just not a winning player, the construction is a mess, IQ don't have a real impact, RJ is still RJ, Ujiri is gone, new VP...
I'm not negative, I'm just being realistic.

IQ who was injured a large portion of last season and playing on a tanking team with a in &out roster due to injuries and trades? But..somehow you're passing judgement?

RJ showed growth and despite the fit issue is a productive player. Beyond that he is 50/50 to be traded.

We have a roster of young players who showed promise.

If you don't think you're being negative beyond what any rationale person could be .. yikes.

But hey..how's this. 500$ bet the team is over 40 wins. Mods be willing to ban me if I don't pay out?

Play in winner territory for sure. But miss out and get a pick at the end of the lottery wouldn't be the worst in my mind either. As long as they don't trade the pick. Its sounds like 2026 could be a good draft.

The Raptors would've been a Playoff/Play In team last year if they weren't a top 2 most
injured team for the first half of the season where they were playing 5 rookies and had
the toughest schedule in the league.

The time they finally got healthy they had no choice but to tank the rest of the season.
The BLATANT tanking started at the 60 game mark so that's a quarter of the season which
just happened to coincide with the easiest schedule in the league. We literally could've
won every game in March and April if we actually cared and weren't having 905 auditions.

It really was a bizarre year but with lots of green flags especially from all our young players
except for Mogbo.

With more internal development from our young players some good health and the addition
of Ingram and the solid rookies we just drafted we'll definitely make the playoffs in this complete
joke of a conference.

The Raptors are gonna shock all the casuals around the league it's gonna be 2006-2007 all
over again and I'm just waiting to see what Vegas says because I'm prepared to make bank.

They are gonna give us a hard schedule early on as I am sure the NBA pegs us as a lottery/tanking team. I think I read somewhere that they switched up the schedules to make the tanking teams play other tanking teams at the end of the year. That's why our schedule was so easy at the end of the year.
I predict our squad to rally & stick together & adopt an us against the world mentality & have a decent first half of the year & then beat up in our weaker 2nd half opponents
