I voted giving Bobby and Dan promotions because they're Masai's guys.
With the Temple resigning, it looks like they're trying to maintain some continuity.

Ed needs this so the team can be better than last year to justify his terrible decision. Most likely they leave the position vacant and let Bobby and Dan maintain the status quo which should be enough for the goal of better than last year. Then Ted can put in his own turd suckers the year after, and strip the team down to maximum cash-cow status - just good enough to get some playoff revenue, but always cheap enough to get the tax sharing.

Raptors should consider former coaches like Michael Malone, Taylor Jenkins and Mike Budenholzer. Brad Stevens has shown us that coaches can make the best GM when it comes to building a team. A former coach is perfect for a GM position because they know what is required to win basketball games.

Chad does have a good resume. Hes a draft guy which should be the primary focus at all times for our org.

Indy has made some good decisions past few seasons too.

However IMO bobby and dan would be able to lead this thing as we’ve been on the right track for a bit here now.

And they absolutely smash the draft which is vital.

I like Bobby. A lot. Just not he’s ready for a President role. He’s still very young and could do with some more seasoning.

Of the people who are known to be available, Bob Myers is the man I’d be looking towards. Obvious reasons smart, charismatic, proven track record of leadership and success. Bonus being he’s white so Ed will go along with it.

If we could steal Sam Presti that would be even better.

That said, if we’re just going to grab some rando, I’d rather we roll the dice with Bobby and hope he’s up to it, with Tolzman getting the promotion to GM.

Honestly, I worry about Dan being poached more than anything.

Promoting both saves Rogers $ not having to pay for a "name". Instead they get little raises and add an asst. for Dan.
