No need for editing.

It is OK to be grateful to TL for what he did for us, and despise what he did in Seattle. Society today claims everyone should be morally perfect. That does not exist. TL did some good to us, and some bad for personal gain elsewhere. Nothing wrong in acknowledging the good he did.

Btw: imagine if Masai was let go because of something he did: and as a courtesy for his accomplishment it was kept quiet but now surfaces out. What would you do? Edit him out too?

My edit here:
I disagree on society today editing out the bad and pretend it did not happen. The 'cancel' culture.
We need to know both the good and bad so a. We can learn from it and b. Give a chance to an individual to recover from their wrongdoing

OVG and Legends Hospitality have agreed to pay $15 million and $1.5 million in penalties, respectively, related to the conduct outlined in the indictment.

Leweike could be responsible for up to $1million in fines. He's not going to get jail time. The DOJ will fine him, he gets demoted, and it will all get swept under the rug. He already stepped down from CEO (but remains on as "vice chairman of the board and as an OVG shareholder".

It's just a cash grab from the DOJ, they're not going to send him to jail over this and spend money on more lawyers. This crap happens all the time - shoot, half the people in the DOJ probably benefit from this kind of "rigging". The DOJ is just a massive shakedown department. Pay up, then continue on your merry way.

It's called a settlement.

Everybody has skeletons in the closet. He did a great job here. I don’t particularly care what happened after.

You are wrong. Behind Internet anonymity, everyone posting on Internet is morally perfect.

/end sarcasm. Of course you are right

I was just listening to an interview with him. His group also renovated the Hamilton arena i believe its called the TD coliseum. Tim did a good job in his tenure at MLSE. He was a fresh corporate face that did and said the right things.

I have a lot of experience in the contracting world. Every bidder out there especially for large jobs tries gaining insider advantage however they can. This to me is not Tim's fault. It's the university that should have said wait a minute the project won't go ahead without multiple other bids. The issue here is that there really are only so many companies that are competent in building out stadiums.
