Personally hoping for one of Kneepkens, Kitts, or CLW

If the Tempo want to draft a big, they could have their choice between Awa Fam (Spain), Madina Okot (South Carolina), Raegan Beers (Oklahoma), or Serah Williams (UConn) when they make their selections in the first (#6 or #7) and second (#21 or #22) rounds.

If the Tempo want to draft a forward, they could have their choice between Ashlyn Watkins (South Carolina), Chloe Kitts (South Carolina), Janiah Barker (Tennessee), Cotie McMahon (Ole Miss), or Maggie Doogan (Richmond) when they make their selections in the first (#6 or #7) and second (#21 or #22) rounds.

If the Tempo want to draft a guard, they could have their choice between Azzi Fudd (UConn), Flau'jae Johnson (LSU), Ta'Niya Latson (South Carolina), Kiki Rice (UCLA), Gianna Kneepkens (UCLA), Charlisse Leger-Walker (UCLA), Yarden Garzon (Maryland), Ashlon Jackson (Duke), Payton Verhulst (Oklahoma), Rori Harmon (Texas), or Iyana Martin Carrion (Spain) when they make their selections in the first (#6 or #7) and second (#21 or #22) rounds.

I think you need to draft a scorer as an expansion franchise. Someone with some charisma doesn't hurt. Number 1 on my board would be Flau'ae Johnson.

Big difference between nba and WNBA is the sequence of the off season events.

Draft comes last in WNBA -2 weeks before training camp opens. So unless you have a top 3 pick the draft pick is going to complement the existing roster and not the other way around like in the nba where you build your team around the lottery pick.
In years past being a 1st round pick wasn’t even a guarantee you made the team.

They’ve been such a mess in their start up that some people are thinking Portland might get bumped back a year.
Also of note they are the only non nba owners of recent expansion teams - so perception is their disfunction hurt non nba owned expansion bids line Nashville and KC.

I think Toronto Tempo did well with colours and name

I like the Toronto Color scheme and I am already associating the hydrogen blue + Bordeaux to the teams.

I like how the logo can fit with the merchandises

That is said I don’t like much the main logo without the wordmark. I am not sure I like the form.

I hope at some point down the road we can unveil an additional main logo

Also what I don’t like about the team name and design is I think it’s the overall branding is a bit limited.

But the merchandise is making me warming up a bit to the branding . Especially thanks to the color scheme.

So far I have purchased two t shirt from roots (tempo collection) and I have order two items from the new era lights edition .

Can’t wait for 2026 !
