The Hulkster! A major inspiration for my rizz.

This epic battle took place in Wrestlemania 18 in Toronto.

The Heel Turn is one of the things I still enjoy about wrestling. Less so in context, as I haven't really watched it since I was very small, but it's such a fun trope in other media and it's just so exaggerated in wrestling. Good times. Also, when I was REALLY small, I still remember Hogan and Yokozuna and the salt and all that at Wrestlemania. And then he extended himself with nWo. And he did Mr. Nanny, Rocky III, Suburban Commando, Gremlins 2 and some other absolute nonsense. One of the first guys to really bridge the gap from wrestling to film, him and Jesse Ventura.

Later years? Try the early years. Apparently, he was involved in lots of shenanigans starting from the 80s and in different promotions.

But sure you are right. Not the time to take deserved jabs on the guy. The guy is an icon of Wrestling for good reason.

Ed O'neil is jokes, man. And apparently a black belt in Brazilian jiujitsu. Have thoroughly enjoyed him in many things. MWC is one, but Wayne's World, the Dragnet reboot a little while ago, Modern Family. Man's a gem on screen.

Agreed. Also some older movies, early 90s he did. Dutch comes to mind.

Small part in the Bone Collector. He had a fun episode of The Unit.

Anyway.

He was a pretty horrendous wrestler. Like technique wise, the art of making a fake fight so to speak. But everything else he was one of the best at (presence, mic, character). He also had extreme creative control over writing, so you can even say he might have been huge in contributing behind the scenes in one of wrestlings greatest eras.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

People are struggling with how to handle this thread so, like on the GB, this one's getting locked.
