I'm not normally one to think about celebrity deaths much, but Ozzy's passing feels like losing a grandparent or something. My mum gave me her Black Sabbath tape when I was very little, and Children of the Grave became my favourite song up to this very day. Ozzy's voice has been as much a part of my life as my family members, helped me through things even they couldn't, and to me, stood as an ultimate testament to the power of being true to yourself.
He was no Ordinary Man, but a true one of a kind legendary being. Play some Ozzy or Sabbath songs for the young people in your life so he may continue to be held in reverence through the generations. Long live the legacy of The Prince of Darkness. Rest in Peace OzzMan.
