That site is awful almost as bad as that Raptors Digest YouTube channel. Devin Carter is no better than Shead so this site has Toronto trading 3 positive assets for a 3rd string guard possibly 4th depending on how Alijah Martin does.

I don't mind the Digest guy, he's a fan for sure. Mostly just does reactions to news & rumors.

Damn that's the 2nd person who trashed Carter, I thought he had some of hype of being good but just got injured last year. Mind you I'm not following the Kings all that much.

Lavine will have trade value at 30-35M per year if he agrees to the extension. So it is only one year of not being worth his contract. And hopefully he will be traded onwards by the trade deadline as a positive asset.

Just one more comment about this deal. Another motivation was to pick up a big salary that could be traded at the deadline for someone like Giannis other than Scottie and BI. In this scenario we only have to give up 1 starter to match salaries instead of 2. There may be other big names available at the deadline.

Nvm how lopsided this is, you want the SL to be Jak/Giannis/Murray/BI/Barnes lmao. That might be the most unbalanced SL I've seen with 1 shooter and a bunch of guys playing out of position. These guys are good defenders but I bet they get torched on D because of that lineup lol

I wonder if Agbaji was shopped at all. A good front office would try to see what he can get. A project first around 18th would be a W trade. We don't even have space to play him as of now. Dick, Walter, RJ, Mogbo and Ingram are at his position.

Yeah - skip the part about acquiring Lavine. If we have a chance at Giannis it will be for Scotty +++++. My dream trade is Giannis and Turner for Scottie, Yak ++++++.

Yeah - skip the part about acquiring Lavine. If we have a chance at Giannis it will be for Scotty +++++. My dream trade is Giannis and Turner for Scottie, Yak ++++++.

I think at this point, with the cap space the Lakers are clearing, it seems pretty clear they are targeting Giannis, when he can become a FA in 2 years. I would not want to trade Scottie for a 2 year rental.

Mamu may have the shooting, but Yak just does so much more on the floor in all other aspects.

You have one year left of fixed cost before he becomes an RFA.

We save about 1million and get two guys with potential to play off the bench. I think Holmes and CMB will kill as a bench duo because Holmes can shoot in college and I thought he was one of the best bigs in his draft class. Tyson was a draft gem too

That's a not even close for me. Our main incentive to trade RJ is to get off his Money. Murray has a worse contract with more years and higher AAV and is also injury prone. Who knows how he will even move after his achilles injury. Also - why are we the ones giving up a pick?

I'd consider Murray and a 1st for Quickley, but even that I'm really uneasy about.
