I said this before but nothing less than a championship should have that fan base give any sort of forgiveness towards the new owners imo.

Even with the hush-hush rationales for the trade and possible value loss, this should have been a straight flip to rebuild mode when they won the lottery. The West is too tough and you can spend 3 years tanking and lining up cap space for that offseason with your assumed franchise player in place.

The Hornets are right there with your 2027 pick and would have loved a way out of the basement. They have the contracts and the need plus the picks or prospects for AD

Is it true he wanted to deal Cooper? Nico must have ulterior motives. That is literally crazy.

I saw this as well and I have to think that this was satire/lie. Would be unfathomable otherwise
