Raptors do this too often. Don't play players who are sick.

What are the Raptors supposed to do about that?

If he’s too sick to play, it’s on him to tell the trainers and coaches that. Like CMB did.

He didn’t.

I don't know, but we should blame Darko anyways!!!

It literally is that simple if anybody on the team tried defensively at all for the entire game.

I just don’t trust you if that’s what you took from this game

I swear yall just look at the PPG the opposition scores to determine the quality of D we played. I’ve seen us play good D and get 130 put up on us and other times play bad D and hold a team to 100.

This was far from a bad defensive performance, regardless of what the scoreboard says. WAS hit a LOT of tough looks. Which props to them, but for some reason this board is incapable of recognizing when teams we play against just play well.

I don’t know what game you deluded yourself into believing you were watching but the entire Raptors roster didn’t even try whatsover until the 2nd half because they thought they could get away with it

They figured out the hard way that they aren’t anywhere near talented enough to half ass a game against even a tanking team.

We were the 4th best Defensive team in the league and they're the 3rd worst offensive team in the league and dropped 138 on us. Probably don't need to overthink an outlier game like this.

Not sure what being the 4th best defensive team in the league going into the game has to do with nobody on the team trying defensively for today’s game

They just showed a highlight of about 5 wide open 3s in the fourth on the sportsnet recap

If Darko didn't take Scottie's temperature before the game then he should absolutely get all of the blame.

They could show a highlight of the entire game because Washington was getting anything they wanted for its entirety.

Doubt Ed was watching. Otherwise he’d have been so sickened by that effort he’d have to fire him.

Shead's fall back down to Earth has been crazy. Hard to believe he was rocking over a 60 TS% at one point this year.

For whatever reason I feel like when Brandon is the only one scoring we're in bad shape. But turns out we're 10-4 when he's the leading scorer. So clearly what that means is that we cant afford for Scottie to be a bum. And clearly he still doesnt have an offensive "bag" so he's screwed. And we hitched our wagon to him for next 5 years.

Biggest difference, their guys could beat our guys off the dribble or using screens and cause breakdowns AND then hit shots.

We have no good screener and only BI can beat his man...mostly to midrange to avoid a C.

It has been a struggle for a while now. That’s kind of the problem when you have a stretch like we did from 2014 to 2019 or so - we got our front office and coaching staff (both NBA and 905) get absolutely picked over
We drafted a development coach for this exact reason over a better in game coach like jordi.
