I think it was last year or two years ago that Phoenix and Seattle went to triple OT or something, and Ray Allen won the game for Seattle with a three at the buzzer. The final score in that game was 155 to 152. So 150 is possible, but 200 is highly unlikely.

200 is impossible, they were on fire yesterday and came nowhere close.

As for 150, I remember the NJ/Pho game last year or the year before that went to a couple OTs and it ended 160ish-150ish I'm pretty sure.

for this to happen the team would have to score 4.1 points per min.

if for example they hit only 2point fg they would have to hit over 2 shots a min. And Phx on average takes 85 shots a game.
Thats 1.77 per min, impressive but short of the 2 required.

If for example Phx did hit 100% of their shots in a game they would only score 170 points.

This is just for a regular game 48 min. If they went to overtime they
would still have to score 30 more ponints to reach the 200 point level. and this assumes that the other team is keeping pace.

Not even all star games get close to 200 points. Not happening!

Current NBA Records Set on Dec. 13, 1983

Most points scored by two teams - 370

Most points scored by one team - 186, Detroit

---------------------

Is 200 possible? I guess, but it's sooooooooo unlikely.

So true.. if it can't even happen at an ASG, then forget about it for a regular season game!

This team scored 137 points last night playing flawless offense. They also got lucky a lot with Banks hitting all those three's. They might get 150 max. It'll have to be at least a triple OT game with flawless and lucky offense for them to drop 200.
