somebody needs to sign james white just so he could be in the dunk contest, the league shoulda invited him back when he was playin for the spurs

This is what i said a a few years ago... It appears that NBA only want to invite players they plan on promoting. If the player himself has potential to be a star, he will then be invited into the dunk contest. James White is still having trouble dribblin and knockin down open shots. If i had my ways, i would invite guys such as:
James White, Nick Young, Travis Outlaw, Tyrus Thomas, Amir Johnson, Shawne Williams, Jamario Moon, Monta Ellis, and of course Rudy Gay

And for comeback special, i would invite;
: Kobe, VC, Gerald Green, Tmac, Iggy, Nate Robinson, Lebron, Jrich, D-maze, Jsmooth, Ricky D, JRsmith

::edit on lebron, stupid guy doesn't belong in the comeback... he has too much to lose in this competition. He should put his pride away and please the crowd.

I dunno, there were some exciting ones recently. I remember the Amare/Josh Smith/JR Smith one was pretty good. Had to love the Nash header pass and the Wilkens jersey swap.

If Moon were going to do a retro dunk, which VC one was most memorable that year? Probably the arm through the hoop? I hate VC as much as the next guy, but a retro dunk would be cool. Too bad it's not that retro since it was like what 6 years ago or something like that?

They should bring back HORSE instead. I've seen every dunk. There probably a lot of crazy trick shots, and what not I havn't seen.
