Well, I'm no coach/ref. Is it allowed to jump straight up and put your hands straight up to contest the shot when someone runs into you? Thats what it looked like to me, and if its allowed, there shouldn't be a foul called. Can someone clarify?
PS. Kinda hard to tell from the angle, would like to see a different replay

It was as ridiculous a call as you'll ever see. If you haven't watched it, do so. It was wide open, cleared out with the game on the line, and he was literally sent to the floor AND smacked on his arm with no one in the way to account for an inability to see it or anything.
And no call, Lakers win, at home. Just ridiculous.
You probably havent watched a raptors game then...

I don't know, Gay is a little selfish, but I don't think Miller is really the answer to them having a better record.
I'd be comfortable with Gay getting that many shots on a nightly basis. He is a very good scorer and finisher. He just needs to start taking the extra attention directed towards him and creating better for his teamates. That's pretty expected from a young player with great skills.
I don't know why the Grizz are so bad though. They got a ton of talent on that team.
The Grizzlies simply sucks due to several issues.
new coach
new system
young players
lack of leadership
defensive liabilities
poor sub patterns from the coach
not taking care of the ball
poor rotations

As a whole, we're not too awful. We might have one true-bluer, but the Lakers guys...if you ever hear them talk about Kobe..sorry, check that...if you ever hear them, it amounts to the same thing...you would think that all world religions were just a warm-up for the real event.

Are you kidding? It's funny to me how so many people on this board believe every other announcer in the league is more biased than the Raptors crew. Because Chuck and Leo tend to profess their love for a particular opposing player's game, this board assumes they are not biased. It's more like they don't have a lot more to say than to talk about the underrated skills of some obscure player they did some cursory research on before the game.
Considering how many superlatives Chuck uses to talk about our players, who are mostly average talent in this league at best outside of Bosh and maybe T.J and Caldy, I think our broadcast team is pretty homerish. Imagine having K. Bryant on this team or Chuck doing Celtics game with their current roster, it would be nirvana for Chuck every game night.
Local broadcasters are allowed to be homers since they serve (cater to) a regional audience they know favors the local team, but please stop saying most other announcers are more biaised.

I don't know what this is supposed to mean... Are you somebody no one should dare contradict or something? If that's the case, I am so sorry I exasperated you daddy.
I have heard/seen your name around these parts and don't think you deserve to be on so many ignore lists, if you want my opinion.

Thanks, son, but no, my point wasn't that I shouldn't be contradicted, though now that you raise the point, it has some merit...
But seriously, no, it's just that I am somewhat known around here for fighting an ongoing and often invisible to others battle against homerism/bias, and often cite some of our broadcasters as party to it.

Point taken. You will get no disagreement from me in that regard. Funny line there too, by the way
