Very impressive, although that was only really possible back then. No 3-in-the-key rule, a more narrow key, no shot clock, and the lack of very serious defensive competition. I'm pretty sure a lot of teams averaged over 130ppg during the 60s.
A 50-point game is so much more impressive today, although Wilt was definitely one-of-a-kind. It says something that they had to change the rules to adapt to him
