Kevin Martin?

Brandon Roy?

I'd take either although I think ultimately, Roy will be the better player.

I still want to cry when I think about missing out on Roy in the 2006 draft. :-?

Don't get me wrong, Martin is really good BUT at both of their peaks he won't even be in Roy's league.

Kevin Martin is unstoppable at times. His screen play is Rip-esque and when players jump he has blow by ability and excellent finishing. Added onto that he's hella efficient, gets to the free throw line at an All-Star clip and could realistically be the scoring champ of the NBA, I don't see what Roy could do to deem him worthy of being in another 'league' considering there is only a one year separation between the two.

BTW, I'd rather have Martin on this team.

Agreed, IMO, Roy needs the ball in his hand all the time to be effective. KMart on the other hand is a PURE scorer. Given the PG and Post oriented system the Raps play, I'll take him anyday over Roy.

When Martin got his contract in the summer, there was a huge line of people on this board that called him overpaid. I think he's definitely answered those questions.

Now where is that guy who showed me Sesame Street pictures because I took Martin over Gordon? :D

Thats because Gordon plays for the Bulls (one of the most overrated them on this board coming in the season) and with players that are over valued like no other and he was the third pick and Martin plays for the Kings (one of the most hated teams on this board) and with players who are hated because people don't like Kings fans (i think people hate just to spite them (the fans)). You shouldn't worry about it.

How he gets his shots sometimes really blows me away....

He can create as well as Wade without hitting the deck after every shot...

He has a really smooth jumpshot, and I bet he is loving playing for RT..

I wonder how quickly they can all gel once everyone is back...they have alot of talent and if they were in the east would be considered a "powerhouse"

I wish we got Garcia instead of Joey. He literally does everything better, it's obscene.

I would kill if BC could get him for Kapono and a 2nd or something. I think that's a mutually beneficial trade.

I'm probably just dreaming.

He was something like 5th in the league in scoring a few years back, at 26 ppg. Hes very underrated. Like crazy. People call him out on his defense, but he is a capable as anyone else on the team, minus Ron Artest. I believe its because he is on a relatively bad team, and isn't flashy. Same deal with RIP, hes not flashy, just straight productive.

The media hypes the Hawks, and their future star wing guards, while Kevin Martin is dropping 39 points on 14-16 shooting. Fckin ridiculous.

Clearly defense is the difference between winning and losing for this team.
