I mean, he has been given multiple chances to prove his worth and he has failed miserably. I know James699 or w/e is a bad poster but I dont think the question he proposed is one that should be ignored. What has Bargnani done so far to warrant him a future with the raptors? being drafted first overall?

What has he shown? He showed enough flashes of brilliance last season as well as in the playoffs as well as this pre-season and the first 2 games of the season to have adoring fanboi's bask in his European musk.

And plus, it's armchair GM's like you who would give up on a high draft pick early on his career because he isn't producing at the rate you expect him to.

If you were a Laker fan, I don't see how you wouldn't be one of those fickle fans who were calling for Kupchack's head for not pulling off the Kidd trade.

Evaluate this pick at the end of the year, or better yet, the end of next year where his contract negotiations come into play. Sheesh.

Yes, I am part of the future. I will stay here for a long time until Vancouver gets a nba team back or realgm stops doing these forums. Until then I will be here strong and free. I know many of you guys dislike my opinions and comments, but live with it. If the Knicks are stuck with a guy like Ishiah Thomas, the Raptors board is stuck like a guy like me. BTW Ishiah Thomas is one of my favourite role models.

What do you think? I really can't think of any reason why any GM would select someone first overall and have no plans of the future with them.

He does look like he's going through the motions, as tough as it is for some of you HOM-ERS to swallow. Like an awkward kid trying to score.
